Therese’s comment: equity crowdfunding is risky. This post argues that investors can make their own decisions about gambling or not. I would add that the regulator should be more concerned about applying stricter regulations to hedge funds and the stock market than to crowdfunding. the regulator was unable to prevent the financial crisis that has shaved 25% off the savings of millions of Anerican citizens. Now THAT was risk they shouldn’t have had to take.
